Dr. Kim Wünschmann presents the work of the Institute on NDR Fernsehen
To mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day on 27 January 2025, our Director Dr. Kim Wünschmann was a guest on the NDR TV programme DAS! She spoke with Inka Schneider about the work of the IGdJ, research into Jewish life past and present, and the development of innovative educational formats with which the Institute provides an important transfer of historical knowledge to the general public.
Holocaust studies, historical learning in schools and universities, memorials and museums as well as civil society involvement promote a critical culture of remembrance that can effectively counteract discrimination, hatred, antisemitism and racism.
