The IGdJ participates with various events

The programme for the Jewish Culture Days Hamburg 2025 is online!
Following the great success of the first Jewish Culture Days in 2023, the Jewish Community in Hamburg, with the support of the HERMANN REEMTSMA FOUNDATION, is organising the festival, which will now take place every two years. More than 40 events showcase the diversity of Jewish culture in the areas of Judaism, religion, music, literature, visual and performing arts, and city history. The programme includes concerts, readings, exhibitions, plays, guided tours, discussion panels and workshops that highlight both the rich cultural heritage and vibrant Jewish life today. As part of the Jewish Culture Days, this year's Weihnukka evening will take place on 8 December 2025. We look forward to receiving your registrations!

Sharing Jewish cultural events also creates opportunities for encounters and promotes dialogue between non-Jewish and Jewish people. These encounters enable people to get to know each other better, breaking down clichés and prejudices and strengthening constructive and positive coexistence based on mutual respect.
