Professor Yaniv Feller as Fellow at the IGdJ

We warmly welcome Yaniv Feller from the Bud Shorstein Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Florida, who will be Fellow at the Institute and who will be working on his current monograph. His fellowship is suppoerted by ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS.

At the IGdJ, I will work primarily on a chapter dedicated to the space of the museum, exploring how the placement of museums in synagogues throughout Germany calls for a rethinking of the idea of museums as civilizing agents that endow space with sacred meaning.
